#What it is for
Prepare images for emails and feeds: smaller WebP banners, square product photos, JPGs without transparency.
#What you enter
- Files: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF or BMP.
- Output: PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF or BMP (WebP and AVIF only when your browser can create them).
- Quality: 40 to 100, default 90, for JPG, WebP and AVIF.
- Maximum width and height: up to 8000 px. Images are never enlarged.
- Aspect ratio: original, 1:1, 4:3, 3:2, 16:9, 9:16, 21:9, 2:3, 4:5 or 1.91:1, either keeping the full image or filling and cropping.
- Background: a fill colour for transparent areas. JPG always gets one.
#How it works
Everything happens in your browser; files never leave your computer. Each image is drawn at the new size and saved in the chosen format with the original file name and the new extension.
#Reading the results
Each result shows the new size in pixels and bytes and the quality used. Compare file sizes before and after; if a WebP is larger than the JPG, lower the quality.
#Example
Files: 8 product photos (PNG)
Output: WebP, quality 80
Size: max width 1200
Ratio: 1:1, fill and crop#Limits and gotchas
- 10 files and 40 MB per batch, then a 15 second pause before the next batch.
- Download all saves the files one after another, not as a zip; your browser may ask to allow several downloads.
- Animated GIFs are converted from their first frame only.
