- Runs in your browser
- Free to run
- You enter
- The form's embed code.
- You get
- The live form (inline, popup or slider) and clean embed code to copy.
- A good result
- The form appears straight away and looks as designed.
On this page
#What it is for
Separate "the form is broken" from "the website hides it". If the form renders here, the problem is on the website.
#What you enter
Paste the embed code from Ecomail. It must contain the form ID and the account (js.id = ... and js.dataset.a = ...). The Form Scanner can fill it in for you.
#How it works
The page loads the Ecomail widget in debug mode, which skips display conditions like a delay, and renders the form: inline forms in the dashed box, popups as an overlay, sliders from the edge. Earlier previews are cleared first.
#Reading the results
If the form shows here but not on the website, look at the website: a missing container <div id="f-...">, a cookie or consent tool blocking scripts, or page rules in the form settings.
#Example
(function (w,d,s,o,f,js,fjs) {
w['ecm-widget']=o; w[o]=w[o]||function(){(w[o].q=w[o].q||[]).push(arguments)};
js=d.createElement(s); fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];
js.id='12'; js.dataset.a='myshop'; js.src=f; js.async=1; fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);
}(window, document, 'script', 'ecmwidget', 'https://d70shl7vidtft.cloudfront.net/widget.js'));#Limits and gotchas
- Targeting rules (show only on some pages, only on exit) can still keep a form hidden even in debug mode.
- Nothing is sent: submitting the preview is not a real signup test.
