#What it is for

When a customer says "our form does not show", find out whether the embed is on the page at all, which account it belongs to, and whether two forms collide.

#What you enter

A full page address such as https://www.example.com/contact. A bare www.example.com is refused. Recent addresses are kept in this browser.

#How it works

The server downloads that one page (no crawling, no redirects followed) and looks in its HTML for the Ecomail widget loader (ecm-widget). From each one it reads the form ID and the account name.

#Reading the results

  • One form: pass, with the account shown.
  • Several forms: warning, check for conflicts, especially across accounts.
  • No form: fail. Either the embed is missing or it is added in a way the scanner cannot see (see below).

Each card has View code and Preview, which opens the form in the Form Previewer.

#Example

Input
https://www.example.com/

#Limits and gotchas

  • Only the HTML the server sends is read. Forms added by a tag manager, a page builder script or a single-page app are not found; check those in the browser's developer tools.
  • The page has 10 seconds to answer, and an address that redirects is not followed: enter the final address.
