#What it is for

Use it when a product import fails or imports fewer products than expected. It tells you whether the feed is reachable, valid and in a format Ecomail understands.

#What you enter

The feed address, such as https://shop.example.com/heureka.xml. Invisible characters picked up when copying are removed.

#How it works

The server downloads the whole feed (15 seconds at most, no redirects), checks the HTTP status, parses the XML and recognises the format: Heureka and Zboží.cz by <SHOP> with <SHOPITEM>, Google Merchant by <rss><channel><item>.

#Reading the results

  • Healthy: reachable, valid, a known format, products found.
  • Critical issues: the download failed or the XML is invalid; the errors list shows each problem with its line.
  • Some issues: valid but 0 products or an unknown format.

The product explorer loads the first 100 products with all their fields and filters them as you type. Search full feed searches every product by ID or name (a separate run, 2 units).

#Example

Input
https://shop.example.com/export/heureka.xml

#Limits and gotchas

  • If the feed address redirects, enter the final address.
  • Atom feeds and custom formats show "Not detected" and 0 products even when the XML is valid.
  • Very large feeds may hit the 15 second limit. The debug block (status, IP, headers) helps tell a slow server from a broken one.
